Well, it's been 7 years, but I finally returned to the Monticello Railway Museum for their annual Railroad Days event, where they host 3 operating train sets, speeders, and my favorite, a horn honk. This year was quite the blast (no pun intended) with several collectors bringing their horns from all different eras.
Participating was me, Ken Hejl, Jim Lang, Jacob Moreno, Michael Polk, Jack Morgan, Sean McPherson, Matthew Ignowski, Erik Fox, and a few others.
This video will cover Day 1 of the event, Saturday September 21, 2019, when we had the most amount horns there. Running on the trains were Southern 401 with a Southern 3 chime, Wabash 1189 with an M3, and CN 6789 with a K5LA. I'll include a few runbys of these. I did not film every runby.
